What inspires you?
By Braden | August 1, 2008
Getting me fed is a difficult task. But the wife does a great job at finding cheap lunch meals for work, so I do alright. The most recent set was Michelina’s. For those of you still reading, Michelina’s (at least the one’s I got) are little microwavable dinners meant to help you eat good portion sizes. I fell asleep writing that last sentence so I don’t even know what that’s supposed to mean. Anyway, today I was looking at the box of one of them and read:
“Chef inspired recipe!”
Thoughts:
1. That’s supposed to get me excited?
2. That’s supposed to get me to buy these things? (Honey! Can I have these ones? They were made by somebody that actually cooks stuff!!)
3. What are your other recipes inspired by?
And it was only inspired by a chef. Not actually the chef’s recipe. Not actually a recipe, for that matter. “Recipe-inspired food!” or perhaps “Based on a true recipe!”
Posted by: Logan on August 2nd, 2008 at 6:20 pmShop for Marie Callender’s, Boston Market, or Claim jumper frozen dinners. you can get them on sale fairly regularly at Smith’s for 2-3 bucks each. they are good meals and large qauntities. Take it from the frozen lunch expert.
