List of things that need to be cleaned, from most important to least.
1. Yourself (including teeth and mind)
2. Dishes
3. Clothes and bedclothes
4. Your child’s room
5. Your room
6. The movie theater floor
7. Movies, in general
8. And music, for that matter
9. Desk at work
10. Cars
11. Under the bed
12. A pig sty
13. Landfills
14. The toilet bowl
A few days ago I was scrubbing out the toilet bowl because my wife told me to, and I wondered, “Why does this thing need to be cleaned when somebody’s going to poop on it in a little while?” I mean, you touch the seat, so that should be cleaned, but the bowl? The reasoning behind it is that you should only pee on the cleanest thing you can find, I guess, which is how dogs do it. I saw a commercial where the lady is freaked out because her toilet bowl is covered with germs, so she uses this magical cleaner that kills the germs to solve her problem. The last scene shows her leading little Johnny to the pot so he can do his business and UNdo her work. “That’s right, little Johnny, this toilet is so clean now you could practically pee on it!” So unnecessary.
Amen! I’m going on toilet cleaning strike!
